This is my first time renting a lens and it was a really easy and good experience with District Camera. Everything is reserved via their online portal to avoid overbooking of the same lens which is very much appreciated!
District Camera is a brick and mortar store in Burke, VA and my buying experiences with them have always been positive. They have a wide variety of stock, a helpful and experienced staff and they even buy and sell used equipment. They're always my first stop (and mostly my only stop) when purchasing camera equipment.
This is where I get my 35mm film developed in DC! I like that I can fill out the order form online ahead of time and quickly drop my film rolls off. They’re always polite to me and usually take about a week to get my photos back
As a beginner photographer starting a content creation business - I cam into District Camera and Imaging with at on of ChatGPT knowledge and not a lot of hands on experience. Syed spoke with me for about 30-45 minutes with patience and understand knowing I most likely wasn't going to make a purchase.
