camerastores.net is a free directory. There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and no contact form, so we do not ask you for personal information and we do not collect it directly. This page explains the two places where data is nonetheless involved — advertising and analytics — and what you can do about each.

Information we collect directly

None, beyond what any web server necessarily receives to deliver a page. We do not operate accounts, we do not run forms, and we do not ask for your name, email address or location. If you email us at hello@camerastores.net, we hold that message so we can reply and act on it, and we do not add you to any list.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

We do not have access to, and do not control, the cookies used by advertising partners, and we do not receive the personal information they may process.

Analytics

We use aggregate website analytics to understand which pages are useful and where the site is slow or broken — page views, referring sites, approximate region, device type. This is used in aggregate to improve the directory. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or share visitor data with anyone.

Maps and embedded content

Listing and city pages include an interactive map. Map tiles and images load from third-party servers, which necessarily receive the request needed to serve them. The map only requests your location if you explicitly press the locate button, and that location is used in your browser to centre the map — it is not sent to us or stored anywhere.

Business listing data

Listings are compiled from publicly available business information — business name, address, phone number, opening hours, website, ratings and public review excerpts — for businesses operating commercially and open to the public. This is business information, not personal information about private individuals.

If you own or represent a listed business and want your listing corrected, a photo or review excerpt removed, or the listing taken down entirely, email hello@camerastores.net and we will action it. See the contact page for details.

Your choices

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the directory works fine without them.
• Opt out of personalised advertising using the links above.
• Use your browser's tracking-protection or private-browsing features.
• Email us to have a business listing corrected or removed.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
