After we left with big grins on our faces, my nephews said “that guy was really cool, how long have you known him” and I replied that I’d never met him before (and I’m an introvert). I never leave google reviews, but my ten minutes in that shop left a mark. Good selection of film for a little shop.
I was nervous about getting my old Nikon DSLR checked out due to bad experiences with other camera shops in NYC. I'm not very well versed with cameras and I'm a bit out of practice. I decided to check out Rye Camera Shop because of the nice ratings on Google, and I'm glad I did!
Went to Rye camera shop to get a passport photo after first one from CVS was rejected by the passport office. Won't me making that mistake again. Very professional and friendly staff. They have a lot of traditional 35 mil film and other sizes in stock. They offer camera repair service.
Really fantastic service. I had some film developed & scanned here and the turnaround is only a day. You can get your negatives back too and you get the scans on a CD I had my film camera repaired through this shop as well.
