Strolled in to the store the day after the soft opening and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful and enjoyed the exhibit of local photographers. The store is very nicely laid out and while I was pondering a Leica Q I only walked away with a shutter button for my M6.
I’ve been curious about what this store would be since seeing the signage go up. Very cool little store with a not disclosed gallery on the second floor - it’s a small (and free!) gallery so don’t get your hopes too high, but I enjoyed my walk through.
I had a wonderful experience purchasing my Leica SL3 from Leica Chicago. Jacques and the team were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the process. They took the time to answer my questions, walk me through the options, and make sure I felt confident in the purchase.
If you're into photography, cameras, birding, or simply want a cool experience, then I'd recommend visiting the brand new Chicago Leica store. It's a beautiful space showcasing historical Leica ephemera, the newest Leica gear, and works of local artists.
