I’ve been getting my film developed here for several years. No lab is perfect and all are capable of mistakes. In my opinion, the way a lab deals with a mistake is more important then the illusion that it’s not possible. After having negative experiences at ICON each without recourse, I vowed to find another lab.
This is the best film lab in LA. I have been shooting film my whole life and since moving to the area it's been hard to find a reliable and affordable lab. They just lowered their prices which is unheard of and they always have a fast turn around time. Not to mention the quality of the scans are fantastic.
This lab has quickly turned into my go-to lab. They offer different services depending on your needs, such as expedited film development and scanning. I use them for convenience, but have stayed for the excellent service.
The day I tried this lab, I simultaneously dropped off comparable rolls of film at my long time photo lab that's always delivered great results, as a way to compare. Digital Photo Printing & Studio did a wonderful job and delivered great scans conveniently within a day!
