Vital Camera Repair in McAllen Texas repaired my Nikon 80-200mm F2.8 lens for me. The lens is over 25 years old, but is still very sharp and one of my favorite lenses.
Wonderful service! I had a tripod quick release plate break, leaving the snapped bolt still in the DSLR. I couldn't use a tripod or a sling strap, both essential features in the field for me. Needless to say, Nikon wouldn't repair this sort of thing under warranty, and it would cost quite an amount to ship it to them.
I live out of town so when I was having issues with my Mamiya RB67 I called around to see what local shops would repair my camera. I was told the only shop that works on my camera would be in Austin.
Vital Camera Repair was able to repair my film camera very quickly and effectively. The repair woman was very nice and went above and beyond--giving me pointers as to how to get the best results in my film photos and giving me a mini lesson in aperture and focusing properly etc.
