I brought in my beloved Nikon D700 because the autofocus seemed to be unresponsive. William took it in back and returned 20 minutes later. It was working perfectly! To top it off, he refused to charge me! I knew Rudy when he was still with us, and I felt he was looking down on us an smiling!! Best camera repair EVER!!!
I’m so grateful for the guys at Steve’s. They did an outstanding job on my Leica M6, even reassembling it and letting me pick it up to shoot with it while I was waiting for another part to get here from Germany for them to install it.
OUTSTANDING! I walked in to this shop - a few minutes after posted closing time - and was greeted by the friendly, very knowledgeable owner. He looked at the shattered glass cover on the telephoto zoom lens of my Canon camera; disappeared into the back room; and 5-7 minutes later, reappeared.
Steve is a real guy! His store has been around for a long time, and their quality of service is outstanding. Anytime I have a camera issue, I bring it here first. There’s a Samy’s camera down the street, which is awesome, I just like the small company vibes of this store.
