I came here with minimal knowledge of camera but i still had the burning passion to take pictures. Went in for repair on a 20-year-old Nikon telephoto lens. They asked the repair manager to come up and take a look - she took time to check whether replacement parts available (they weren't). She did find me a usable replacement (not exactly same length) from their used equipment department at a very reasonable cost.
The friendly staff were great resources. They weren't able to help with my camera repairs, but they had a list of people who could help, indicating what their expertise was in. I needed for film to be developed, they quoted a 1 week wait but maybe as much as 2 for the holidays.
Big thanks to my friend DAN! Dan was very knowledgeable in his craft and he fixed my camera plate to the tripod. Dan assisted me in purchasing a new tripod and I will be visiting Service Photo Supply in the near future. I would recommend this camera store to anyone looking for camera equipment needs.
