This is the best lab in the city. If you’re looking for quality film processing and scanning, this is the spot! I’ve tried a number of labs in NYC for 35mm and medium format film and nothing beats picturehouse.
I'd been struggling to find a good B/W film lab for my 120 film, and then I stumbled onto the Small Darkroom. These guys are fantastic! I absolutely love the quality and the consistency of their processing, far superior to the bigger labs I've used in the past.
Great service, great prices, great results! I've used this lab for my past ~20 rolls of film, and the results couldn't be better. They're fast, their processing is top notch, and the scans are gorgeous. Not to mention, they charge less than the last lab I used!
I had been looking for a new processing lab. I have tried half a dozen or so different places in Manhattan and Brooklyn but I never really enjoyed the experience at all. Finally about five months ago I happened to stumble upon the picture house after a quick google search.
