I swear by this lab; I recommend NYC Film Lab to everyone that asks about my work. I love them! Even though I'm only a hobby photographer they take me seriously and understand what I need. I think at this point I've sent them a few hundred rolls and I can honestly say they have a perfect track record.
To me, a film lab should provide a feeling of safety—a place where people have so much experience that no matter the problem, they know the cause and the solution. With a professional approach to film, there are many variables, and the only way through is with clarity.
I mean, what can you say.... I brought in 20 rolls in to be developed and within 2 days I had all images back, none of which I needed tweaking or an edit. This was for a professional commercial job too. I could not recommend LAfilmLab higher, I just wish they were based in the UK ;)
I absolutely love this establishment. NYC Film Lab is efficient and professional. I was able to get my film processed and digitized within an hour at such a great cost. I cannot use the word cheap because this place is anything but "cheap"...
