This is the only shop around dedicated to the photographer. The staff are all experienced and know the profession. If they don't have what you need, they will get it. On several occasions they were able to get me newly released products before the online dealers like B&H, Adorama and Amazon could get them.
The staff at Murphy's are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They stand behind their products as well. If they don't have a product in stock in Lexington, they can often get it transferred from their Louisville location inside 24 hours.
Murphy’s Camera is a fantastic Camera store. My camera crew and I came down from NY to do a documentary and realized we couldn’t use any of our lenses because we forgot to pack a mount adapter for our lenses. We stopped in to Murphy’s and they had everything we could’ve needed and much more!
I have been shopping at Murphy's for many years. I have bought two DSLR bodies and several lenses from this business. I have always had positive interactions with all of the staff. In particular, I have had great service from Don, the manager, and Annette. But all the staff has been great.
