I cannot say enough about Elliot at Mike’s Camera in Menlo Park. Rarely have I seen the level of help and customer service she gave me. I was in to make a special birthday photo book for my son and am “tech challenged”.
It is one of the few places in the area where you can still buy 35mm film. They also process and print it, which is great. They have a great store. Besides, it's really nice to interact with real people in a world where we buy almost everything online.
My go to camera shop. 1 as a photographer, I borrowed the equipments. They made it easy and inexpensive. Recommend reserve ahead so they can bring other equipment from Sacramento to the Menlo Park store roughly one day. Reserve few days ahead to make sure. 2. Passport shots. Better quality than other store.
Vijay is the absolute best! I took my son (a budding photographer) to Mike's Camera in Menlo Park and Vijay noticed us sitting at the computer attempting to created a calendar. He helped my son from start to finish and had great suggestions!
