Coming to photograph the District of Columbia, I could't help myself but stop by this quaint mom and pop camera store. As a professional photographer for National Geographic, I have been to hundreds of camera stores. McClanahan Camera exceeded my expectations in all regards.
I have been visiting this business for over 30 years now and the lovely owners and support staff never fail to impress me with their depth of knowledge, and give me all the time I need to help achieve my goals; I have never once felt rushed to make a decision.
Getting back into photography & narrowing my camera choices, stopped in to speak with someone & look at the cameras I wanted. Cindy was a great help, as was all the staff. Knowledgeable & took the time answering all my questions. Was able to get everything I needed to get set up.
McClanahan Camera has some ideal prices and so many camera accessories. Very attentive. Very friendly...ready to help, and very thorough with help. I had some photos developed there, as well, and they were I was able to wait for them!
