Kamerahaus in NYC is a haven for Leica lovers, especially those with a penchant for vintage gear. Nestled at 636 Broadway #302 in NoHo, this shop is the brainchild of Craig Williams—a familiar face from the beloved Leica Store SoHo days.
I shopped here with little knowledge of old Leica’s - Nikon and everything in between. I thought I would be intimidated at first, but the team was great and incredibly generous with their time and knowledge. I was in there for over an hour and not once felt pressured to make a purchase.
Craig spent over an hour walking me through the different camera options I was considering, carefully weighing the pros and cons of each. He made me feel incredibly comfortable and confident in my decision, and genuinely excited about the purchase.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience today at Kamerahaus. I stopped by with my Leica 3F because I was having trouble loading the film. Craig took the time to analyze the mechanical problem and work through it with me.
