Purchasing expensive camera equipment requires careful consultation. I came to Newtonville Camera to purchase a telephoto lens for my budding photographer son, who also happens to be on the autism spectrum. After discussing his needs and wants with Joshua Lavine, a recommendation was made for a particular Tamron lens.
Spoke with and worked with Michael, who was a delight, to get all my film developing and scanning questions answered and then place my order. The hours are so much better since Hunt’s bought Newtonville Camera. I’m relieved that they still develop film and that I don’t have to go all the way into the city.
I had an awesome experience at Hunt’s with the support from Charlie, who was so wonderful to work with. I was trying to buy a Christmas present for my husband but I literally know nothing about cameras.
Charlie was awesome! He helped us find the right lens and offered a price match and seasonal discount. I would gladly go back to Hunts in Waltham.
