I am a professional photographer in DFW and my camera and lenses desperately needed to be cleaned. I found Jim on Google and called him, and after a quick discussion, my husband dropped my gear off to him.
I have a Canon lens that over time the flanges on the mount had become worn down at the edges. So it made it have some slack when trying to rotate the lens from horizontal to vertical. Which made the connection bad if you didn't have the camera just right.
Jim was an amazing relief of old-school, real-world, genuineness that is missing in today's society. I am newer to "professional" photography, as in having players and teams pay to shoot their games. So it is not my full-time job, and unfortunately, I can not dump a large amount of money into it quite yet.
I had the best experience at this shop! The service was great. I brought in two camcorders from the early 2000s which I have been trying to use to view my old family home videos from my childhood.
