I traveled to Chuck's Camera Plus yesterday, Jan 6th, on a very rainy Saturday afternoon. Chuck's is a used camera store over in Hampton near the Air & Space Museum and has been on my radar for quite a while.
For the being the only camera shop left in Hampton Roads, you will not be disappointed. The store is filled with every type of camera you can think of plus more. Chuck is a very knowledgeable and kind person. He’s willing to share some of his insights and provide advice if you need.
I'm getting new into this whole photography camera thing and let me tell you if you don't know where to go if you don't know what you doing. If you just got questions about cameras or you just want to see some really really awesome cameras and I mean some awesome cameras and me to really awesome guy. Very educated.
Chuck is a GEM!! He offers so many services and the inventory in the store is very extensive! He is super knowledgeable about all things film related and can repair old VHS tapes and transfer old data to new formats. Bonus-the back of the store showcases a very cool camera museum.
