What customers say
Having grown up with a family having its own business, I love the opportunity to support “local” businesses. I say “local” in quotes as I drove the 2 hours from Lubbock to buy at this store. They are Amarillo’s closest actual camera shop.
I drove 200 miles to see this camera store and left with the best experience I’ve had in a long time! The owner and his staff were so kind and welcoming and even gave me some advice on selling photos. He showed me around the print area and I was very impressed.
I have been researching and saving for a telephoto lense upgrade, and went to Armadillo Camera to get a better idea of what lenses I was looking at and see what they had in store. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable about their various lenses, camera compatibility, and strengths for subjects.
I’ve gone to Armadillo before it changed ownership/location and haven’t gone again until today. Refreshing! Great location/store. Sasha was very pleasant and Larry answered and troubleshooted my point&shoot film camera at no cost!!! Very knowledgeable. Would come back again.
